Meet the Artist

Hi I'm Samantha a Meanjin /Brisbane-based printmaker making artist books.  My creative practice emerges from both the internal and external world around me.

 

Each artist book starts by an initial concept then I investigate what printed process and materials will best serve the expression of this idea.​
 

I work intuitively, rigorously and experimentally in traditional heritage printing methods (relief, intaglio, lithography producing mockups and artist proofs.

During this intense, immersive and laborious process, there is time to contemplate its construction and consider permutations.​
